You have heard the old adage, “If you give a man fish, he has food for a day. But if you teach him how to catch fish, then he has food for life!” That, in essence, is what you will be doing as a volunteer, a Hero for Eternity.
You will be offering mankind dignity and enlightenment, so that each and every being can attain the ultimate prize: Eternal Life in Paradise, the spiritual Promised Land. No more coming back to Earth time and time again in potentially cataclysmic cycles of incarnation.
By signing up as a volunteer, you will help write Chapter One of the worldwide spiritual rescue mission that will bring enlightenment to mankind. And with enlightenment, mankind will have finally learned the lessons required for spiritual maturity. This is important, because a being that is spiritually mature can experience bliss here on Earth and in Paradise for all Eternity. So by joining The NEW American Dream, you will indeed become a Hero for all Eternity.
Your job will be to enlighten mankind about the “4Ws” of life – the who, what, where and when. Mankind needs to be informed about their birthright, their spiritual heritage.
That we are human spirits, not flesh and blood.
That we came from Paradise, not from Earth.
That we need to keep the spiritual laws in our hearts and in our actions, so we can all find our way back to Paradise.
Mankind needs clarity before it can prepare, and then walk on that road to eternal freedom. Mankind needs enlightenment. People need to understand that it is the quality of life you lead here on Earth that determines if, and when, you will return to Paradise. As a Hero for Eternity, you will bring that enlightenment. You will be a spiritual teacher. Along the way, you will help your fellow man to live a dignified life. A life free of wars, free of want, free of abuse.
Teaching the Teacher
If you are going to teach someone how to catch fish, you must know how to catch fish yourself. Imagine what would happen if you tried to teach your 16-year-old daughter how to drive, yet you had never in your life sat behind the wheel of a car. It would also be pretty dangerous for a hospital janitor who was not able to finish middle school to try to teach a post-graduate medical doctor how to perform brain surgery. In other words, it is not possible to teach someone something you don’t know yourself.
That is why it would not be too much to expect that those who will volunteer as Heroes for Eternity, however much the love for mankind burns in their hearts, should read the book first, so that they can get the nuts and bolts of what their mission is all about. That is your first assignment.
The 7th Sense contains the roadmap that will guide you as you set out on your exciting spiritual Mission. After you read the book, you will fully understand how you can maximize your volunteer activities and be the most effective.
Here is a summary of our mission.
Making the World a Better Place
As we have said above, your task as a volunteer is to bring enlightenment to the world. But where to begin?
First, barriers to enlightenment must be eliminated. Conditions that do not optimize the spiritual striving of men include abject poverty, illiteracy, wars, lack of basic health facilities and so on. In order for all of mankind to live in dignity on Earth, and therefore be open to spiritual enlightenment, the political and economic will to improve these conditions must exist.
Mankind is turning a new page. A New Era is being ushered in, one that will see our so-called enemies become allies. Mankind will come together as One.
Some of the recommendations in The 7th Sense are already being carried out through established channels, some of them seeded in the past seven to eight years. They are concrete proof — working demonstrations — that these goals are easily achievable with the right amount of manpower, brainpower and liquid resources. This is where our volunteers come in.
In villages where leaders have joined together to establish targeted projects, people are already starting to live dignified lives as a result of these efforts. Let us examine a few areas.
Wiping Extreme Poverty off the Map
By the time a family spends most of its energy and resources on just staying alive on this planet Earth, there isn’t enough left for the necessary upward striving of their spirits. The result; a wasted earth-life which, at the juncture Mankind stands today, would be a tragic loss.
Hundreds of millions of people are caught in extreme poverty cycles where the earthly struggle to survive practically overwhelms the spirit. The good news is: there are solutions to this undignified way of living.
In the past few years, various organizations, working independently or within the relevant UN structure, have demonstrated that it is absolutely possible to lift whole villages out of abject poverty. It has been done in diverse countries with diverse cultures and varying sets of problems. The high degree of success, the relatively short amount of time it took and the reasonably affordable resources utilized have been quite gratifying indeed.
For instance, in a particular community where agriculture is the mainstay, improved seeds, farmer education and other simple but effective methods have yielded up to 400% increase in crop production.
Farming families that could barely make ends meet are now able to contribute up to 100 kilograms of crops to School Feeding Programs, whereby each child is guaranteed one decent nutritious meal per day.
Instead of an average family walking up to two miles to fetch water, digging local wells has reduced this to a walk down the street. The provision of clean drinking water has also resulted in significant reduction of various diseases including diarrhea, dysentery and malaria.
Micro loans have also been proven to be successful at lifting people out of poverty in many countries. Poor people who never would have had access to cash to start, or improve, a family business are now feeding their families — and paying their loans on time in more than 90% of the cases. That’s a better repayment rate than U.S. banks report here in America! Isn’t that where you should be putting your money?
With these proven programs in place, all we need now is a global expansion. We envision that millions of communities will be reached to rid the planet of abject poverty in one fell swoop.
Words to feed the Spirit
Illiteracy, compounded by abject poverty, is an obstacle to attaining Eternal Life in Paradise. Each person needs to be able to read and absorb the word of the Lord by himself, if he wishes to travel on the road back to Paradise.
Imagine a village where only 10 children are enrolled in school, or another village where the number is a grand total of ZERO!
As recent success stories have proved, that statistic can change drastically, with the right program and the will to see it through. With the need to walk long distances to fetch water and gather firewood eliminated, by canceling school fees, by adding more teachers and by adding school feeding programs, the results have been nothing less than spectacular. One village went from 10 students to 200. The other village went from zero to 150 . These results are just the tip of the iceberg!
Children are willing to learn, and parents are eager to encourage them if their poverty burden is lightened. Of course, illiterate adults also have to be taught how to read and write.
And the archaic traditions and customs that have kept millions of girls at home must be eliminated.
We have to eradicate illiteracy around the world in two years, or perhaps even less, with the Internet, satellite and other technology coming into play.
As a volunteer, you will have an important role to play in wiping illiteracy off the map. Stay tuned for more details in the Volunteer section of this Website.
Saving Lives for Pennies a Day
Imagine having to go shopping for a four-foot coffin in which to bury your precious son or daughter — just because you didn’t have enough money for ice cream!
Sounds outrageous? But that is what more than 10 million parents do every year!!!
For roughly the cost of an ice cream cone, they could have avoided that heart-wrenching tragedy. Because that is what an insecticide-treated mosquito net costs.
In villages where 52% of the population was afflicted with malaria, these bed nets have reduced the incidence of the disease to less than 13%. Talk about a miracle for pennies on the dollar!
Working models have demonstrated in many communities that no one needs to die of a preventable illness or condition such as malaria, tuberculosis and malnutrition. Health clinics that provide not only treatment, but that emphasize prevention, have proven to be wildly successful.
But again, teachers are needed. Read the Volunteer section of this Website to find out how you can help.
